Natural Fertility

Planning for a new baby is an exciting time for any couple, but far too often we stumble upon difficulties falling pregnant. With the busy, hustle and bustle lives that we lead,  we often don’t look after the nutritional and stress management needs that our bodies require to remain vital and fertile.   This often leads to hormonal imbalances for men and women and leads to infertility.

Research now shows the importance of good nutrition during the preconception period.  Studies have shown that the majority of Australians don’t receive their optimal daily intake of nourishment and are often deficient in many of the important nutrients required for optimal fertility.  Many of our lifestyle decisions deplete us of essential nutrients for conception.

Common Lifestyle Concerns That May Effect your Fertility

There are numerous lifestyle, dietary factors and health concerns that can lead to infertility and issues with falling pregnant, with the most common including:

* Oral contraceptive pill

* Medications

* Existing reproductive problems

* Existing health concerns

* An unhealthy lifestyle

* Poor nutrition

* Smoking

* Stress

* Chemical exposure

* Poor diet and/or digestion

* Alcohol, sugar, coffee, soft drinks

If you are thinking about having a baby now or in the future, it is not too early to start preparing for a safe pregnancy and healthy baby.   Many people have health concerns that reduce the likelihood of falling pregnant.  It is important to clear all imbalances in the body before falling pregnant and make sure that your body is in good shape to have a baby.

With the help of Tracie our principal naturopath, you will receive dietary guidance, lifestyle improvements and appropriate supplements to increase your chances of conceiving. Tracie has over her 30 years in practice and has helped hundreds of couples have wonderful bundles of joy.

Both Men and Women can have problems with their fertility. A healthy and well-nourished body is usually a fertile body. Tracie Acheson ND has speciality qualifications in Natural Fertility Management and can address the requirements of the individual to ensure they regain their fertility and realise their dream of a wonderful healthy baby. She has years of experience working with female reproductive concerns like PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), endometriosis, menstrual problems and other hormonal imbalances.

The ideal time to see Tracie is approximately 4-5 months prior to trying to conceive but any time before you are pregnant can also be very helpful for an easy conception and smooth pregnancy.

At the clinic it is common for us to receive little thank you notes from appreciative clients. It is a wonderful feeling to know we have helped someone and made their lives better.

“Eleven years ago I arrived at Sutherland Shire Naturopathic Clinic to meet Tracie.  Having our beautiful daughter  when I was  37 years,  my husband and I thought we would try for a second child a few years later when I was 41.  After 4 miscarriages and lots of heartache we were considering IVF until a friend recommended I see Tracie before we try IVF. It was the best advice ever! I was really welcomed warmly and felt I had found the right person to help me try to have my 2nd child. Tracie listened to my story, and she genuinely cared for myself and my family. I was given a program including dietary changes, lifestyle enhancements and natural remedies to follow and after 5 months I had conceived. Under Tracie’s care and guidance and at age 42,  my pregnancy went full term and we were so excited and emotional when we welcomed our much loved baby son into this world. We will always be grateful to Tracie for such a wonderful gift. It is now 2016 and I am back in Tracie’s clinic seeking help for my menopause symptoms.  After a few weeks, I am already feeling much better.  I truly believe in the benefits of natural medicine and I really admire the knowledge and expertise that Tracie has developed over her many years of practice.”

“I came to see Tracie for some debilitating digestive pain and problems, I also seemed to get a lot of colds and ear problems. Tracie started working immediately on my diet, Immune and Digestive systems to relieve my discomfort . After my first visit my bowel and digestion were much better, I did an Indican urine test that showed I had some digestive imbalances so I commenced a gut repair program. My ears and nose symptoms had settled nicely. During the next consultation I shared the news that my doctor said after doing some tests, that I had almost no chance of falling pregnant. I am in my late 30’s and the test showed I had very few eggs. With my digestive symptoms improving every day, Tracie started including remedies to support my fertility concerns. I had not felt this good in a long time. A few month’s past and I was able to give Tracie the good news that I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I was so thrilled as I was given almost no chance of falling pregnant. I want to thank Tracie for getting my body back into balance and then helping me to fall pregnant. I am so grateful, Tracie is supporting me through my pregnancy and all is going really well. Tracie thank you so much for helping me with all my health concerns and making this pregnancy possible.”
