Enjoy Eating Seasonally!
23 December 2013
Cold storage is everywhere when it comes to our fruit and vegetables these days. Eating foods that have been in cold storage for too long reduces the nutritional content of the food. Low nutrient levels in our soil make even our fresh foods less nutritious than they might have been years ago so wherever possible ensure that you choose from what fruits and vegetables are in season. This will ensure they are fresh, high in nutrients to keep our body’s well, and are delicious to eat! Below is a little list of some fruits and vegetables in season during summer. Enjoy!
