Tracie Acheson, ND – Clinic Founder and CEO/Director

Tracie is a highly accredited and deeply experienced Naturopath and Medical Herbalist, and the heart behind the Sutherland Shire Naturopathic Clinic.

With over 35 years of clinical practice, Tracie’s multi-award winning clinic offers clients a rare blend of wisdom, intuition and up-to-date expertise. With a trusted reputation for work in an extensive range of digestive health concerns, leaky gut, food intolerances, and thyroid conditions such as Hashimoto’s, subclinical hypothyroidism and Graves’ disease, Sutherland Shire Naturopathic Clinic also has extensive experience in women’s health, offering compassionate, comprehensive care for endometriosis, PCOS and all types of menstrual issues. SSNC welcomes female and male clients and can help children through to adults.

Kate de la Hunty, Dr Nat, Dip Nat

Kate’s mission is to uncover what each individual body needs to feel its best—naturally.

Her journey into natural health began at Nature Care College in Sydney, where she first trained as a Naturopath. That passion later led her to the USA, where she spent 15 years deepening her knowledge and becoming a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy (not a medical doctor) expanding her expertise to include Functional Medicine.

Kate works with deep care, compassion, and evidence-based methodologies. Whether clients are navigating chronic health concerns or simply looking to feel better in their own skin, Kate offers support and guidance every step of the way.

Kate’s areas of specialty: Women’s Health—ranging from dietary guidance and weight management/weight loss to brain and neurological wellness, ADHD (Children & Adults), Anxiety, Mood disorders and Autism, Gut Health & Digestive Concerns.

Yasmin Hardie, BHSc (Naturopathy)

Known for her warm, approachable nature, Yasmin creates a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Her mission is simple: to help people uncover the root causes of their health concerns, restore balance, and provide the tools, guidance and support they need to thrive.

Yasmin combines a strong scientific foundation with a holistic approach to wellness.

Her approach is compassionate, thorough, and collaborative, taking the time to listen deeply, investigate underlying causes, and develop personalised, practical strategies that help her clients regain confidence in their health and wellbeing, creating tailored treatment plans that support sustainable results.

Yasmin’s areas of specialty: Autoimmune conditions, Thyroid disorders, Acne, Digestive complaints, and Urogenital health concerns, including recurrent urinary tract and vaginal health concerns, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Microbiome optimisation, Gut Health/Repair, and restoring healthy digestive function.

Joanna Krahel, BHSc (Naturopathy)

Joanna – or simply Jo, as she’s warmly known – brings a calm, caring presence and a deep respect for each client’s unique journey,

Jo takes a thoughtful and thorough approach to health, working to uncover the root cause of symptoms but considering the whole person.

She carefully considers all aspects of your health – including your diet, lifestyle, stress levels, environment and genetics – and weaves together a personalised plan using herbal and nutritional medicine, along with small, practical lifestyle changes that are realistic and sustainable. Using evidence-based modalities, as well as routine and specialised blood work, Jo helps build a clear picture of what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Joanne’s areas of specialty: Hormonal imbalances (including PCOS and Endometriosis), Fertility Support, Thyroid conditions, Skin concerns such as Acne and Eczema, Metabolic and Iimbalances, and of course, Gut-related conditions including IBS, Allergies, Histamine intolerance and Food sensitivities.
