Tracie Acheson, ND – Clinic Founder and CEO/Director

Tracie is a highly accredited and deeply experienced Naturopath and Medical Herbalist, and the heart behind the Sutherland Shire Naturopathic Clinic.

With over 35 years of clinical practice, Tracie brings a rare blend of wisdom, intuition and up-to-date expertise to every consultation.

Throughout her long career, she has supported people through a wide range of health challenges, earning a trusted reputation for her work in an extensive range of digestive health concerns, leaky gut, food intolerances, and thyroid conditions such as Hashimoto’s, subclinical hypothyroidism and Graves’ disease. Tracie is also passionate about women’s health, offering compassionate, comprehensive care for fertility, endometriosis, PCOS and all types of menstrual issues.

What truly sets Tracie apart is her unique ability to combine the warmth and attentiveness of a traditional, “old-school” practitioner with the latest in naturopathic science and functional testing. Her clients feel seen, heard and genuinely cared for—while also receiving care grounded in the latest evidence and insights.

Krystle Alves

Krystle is a naturopath and clinical nutritionist passionate about helping people rebalance their hormones, heal their gut, and feel like themselves again. She combines evidence-based nutrition and herbal medicine with advanced functional and genetic testing—including MTHFR—to uncover the root causes of chronic issues like fatigue, IBS, endometriosis, and hormonal imbalances

Krystle’s journey is personal— she’s been through the exhaustion, confusion, and frustration herself. She struggled with chronic fatigue syndrome, IBS, and endometriosis.  Functional medicine changed everything for her, and now she’s here to help you find real answers and lasting relief. Kate de la Hunty
Dr Nat, Dip Nat

Kate is a passionate and highly qualified Naturopath dedicated to helping others thrive.

Her journey into natural health almost two decades ago at Nature Care College in Sydney, where she first trained as a Naturopath. That passion later led her to the USA, where she spent 15 years deepening her knowledge and becoming a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy (not a medical doctor).

With extensive experience in general naturopathic practice, Kate has a particular focus on women’s health—ranging from dietary guidance and weight management to brain and neurological wellness. Kate also loves working with kids and adults in regards to ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders and autism.

Gut health is central to her approach. She works with deep care, compassion, and a truly holistic mindset. Whether clients are navigating chronic health concerns or simply looking to feel better in their own skin, Kate offers support and guidance every step of the way.

Her mission is to uncover what each individual body needs to feel its best—naturally.

Joanna Krahel
BHSc (Naturopathy)

Joanna – or simply Jo, as she’s warmly known- has a genuine passion for supporting men and women and helping them restore balance in their gut and overall wellbeing.

Jo takes a thoughtful and thorough approach to health, working to uncover the root cause of symptoms. Using functional testing like gut microbiome and food intolerance assessments, as well as routine and specialised blood work, Jo helps build a clear picture of what’s really going on beneath the surface.

She supports clients with a wide range of health concerns – from hormonal imbalances like PCOS and endometriosis, to fertility support, thyroid conditions, skin concerns such as acne and eczema, metabolic and immune imbalances, and of course, gut-related conditions including IBS, allergies, histamine intolerance and food sensitivities.

Jo’s approach is all about the whole person. She carefully considers all aspects of your health – including your diet, lifestyle, stress levels, environment and genetics – and weaves together a personalised plan using herbal and nutritional medicine, along with small, practical lifestyle changes that are realistic and sustainable.

In addition to her naturopathy work, Jo is a proud member of the NHAA (Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia) and a qualified yoga and Pilates instructor.
