Why you should continue with your juices this winter?

With the onset of the cooler weather, I am having to remind patients to continue making your Nutribullet or Ninja juice daily.

During winter we feel less like having a cool drink at breakfast time but rest assured, we all need our juices at this time of year, more than ever! During the cooler months we are exposed to many more viral and bacterial infections. Our immune systems really should be geared up to defend us.

The nutrients in the juices I have recommended to you directly boost your immune system. These juices are high in Vitamin C and A, have many minerals and nutrients in them and are perfect to increase our defenses. Ginger also boosts the immune system, improves circulation and aids in the breakdown of mucous and congestion. A few slices of ginger put into some hot water and allowed to steep is a great warm drink in the evening as well.

Even if you can’t bring yourself to make your juices every day, please make them every second day to help your body working nicely and keep those winter colds and flu away!
